2010-2011

On my old blog I made a post about my 2010 goals. I am happy to say that I did indeed achieved and accomplished some. For the ones I didn't accomplish its not a big deal because looking back I did a whole lot more then what one little list can tell me to achieve. Here were my goals to achieve in 2010 and their results

My 2010 Goals:
1)Reduse, Reuse and recycle more. -Accomplished
2)Gossip less. -Accomplished
3)Bring grades up. -Accomplished
4)Do abs daily. -Not-so Accomplished
5)Read more. -Not-so Accomplished

Now for this years-2011 Goals:
1)Graduate from school
2)Watch more of the movies on my list
3)Find my holy grail product
4)Fix up and restore my nails
5)Travel with friends
6)Maintain weight loss
7)Never let pure laziness get the best of me
8)Always eat the serving size(except holidays)
9)Decide on my major
10)Floss Daily
11) Keep Trying

In all honestly it saddens me to see a new year go by. I feel like I should have done this or that and made more of this or that situation. But there is always room for growth and a new year just means 360 more new days. If you mess in one or a couple theres plenty more. Make your year and life the way you want it to be.

Take from this what you will.Happy New Year.

Sammy made me do it

I was tagged by the adorable Sammy to do this tag. I was quite fun due to the fact that these are questions I have never really questioned before.

1. What is your dream job?
I am still not quite sure but I would love to do something with health and fitness and maybe children. I think at a young age is really where kids mold into there eating habits..for the most part.

2. What is your favourite fragrance for winter?
I a signature winter fragrance but I do enjoy Twisted Peppermint body spray by Bath and Body Works and Geir Ness Laila perfume.

3. How do you take your tea/coffee?
Usually black with 1 sugar in my tea and two in my coffee. Ill sometimes add creamer but it has to be a special one like Peppermint or Pumpkin Spice.

4. What is your most important beauty secret?
Sleep. I never really realize how important it is until a break or a weekend comes along and my skin looks so much more refreshed and has more color to it.

5. If you had an all-expenses paid vacation anywhere, where would you go?
Most likely Australia, just something about it I love.

6. If a genie popped up in your lap right now and offered you three wishes, what would they be?
1) For my whole family to live happy and healthy lives where all there dreams come true. 2) Give every person the chance to complete their dreams. 3)To make the most out of my live.

7. If you could only have breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert foods for the rest of your life, which would you pick?
Well I would actually choose Brunch. What a better way to enjoy both breakfast and lunch.

8. If you were Hello Kitty, what colour hair bow would you wear?
Probably sea foam green with lilac hearts just because its my favorite colors together.

9. What is your biggest make-up pet peeve?
My biggest beauty pet peeve is when people over line their eyes and when the eyeliner sinks down onto the face. Raccoon eyes I guess you could call them, Just not attractive.

10. If you could wear only one piece of jewellery for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Rings.

11. What one talent do you wish you had?
I wish I could sing, even though I cant I do always try to make a attempt to improve my singing every time I am driving in the car by myself.

12. What product will you continue to purchase?
Carmex lip care.

13. If you could look into the future, would you? And what would you want to know?
Well after watching Big Fish I really wanted to see into the future to see my death, because then I would know that anything else I did would not kill me.However after watching The Bucket List I changed my mind. Life should be a mystery and I don't want to ruin it by thinking I am invincible. So, No I would not want to see into the future.

14. Who is you biggest celebrity crush? Include pictures:-
Oh goodness, this reminds me of the list I made back freshman year. That year I wrote down all the actors I thought were hot and I ended up with about 147. Now adays most of them I don't even find attractive. I still have mylist buts its much shorter now.
My crushes include: James Franco, Robert Downey Jr., George Clooney, Skandar Keynes, Simon Baker, Josh Groban, Aidan Turner, Ryan Reynolds, Alex O'loughlin.

15. What made you start a blog?
In all honestly it was because I loved watching you tube videos, but I am not a big fan of posting videos of myself. Plus I wanted to expand to more than fashion and makeup unlike most you tube gurus. A blog I thought would be easier to manage and keep up with.

E.L.F. Brightening Eye Colors Review.

Hello all you lovely readers!
Today I have a review on the E.l.F. Brightening Eye Shadow pallets. These are the ones that are only$1. The easiest place to purchase them would definitely have to be their website. However in the states they are are available at some Kmart's and Dollar stores. At this point in time they have 18 different pallets. I have 3 of them in Butternut, Silver Lining, and Nouveau Neutrals(not pictured). The last pallet I have not opened yet. If you wish to see swacthed of that one to, just request it and Ill have it up. Now on with it.

Review:
Claims: "Luxuriously smooth, corn silk formula provides eyes with a neutral base and an awakened brightness. The formula blends into skin for a long lasting, beautiful effect. The 4 color quad allows for both natural and dramatic looks. Mirror in compact included."-eyeslipsface.com Texture: Smooth and Silky.
Blendabilty: Very easy to blend. However the texture of it does cause it to fad sometime in the blending process. Blending will most likely cause fallout.
Smell: Unscented
Lasting Power: I tend to get different results depending on what kind of base I use and what other shadows I use along with them. Without a base/primer or with a cheaper base/primer they tend to fade after about four hours. The color is still somewhat noticeable but mostly faded. With a good base/primer they have lasted me up to nine to ten hours with just little to no fading.
Other comments: The colors per palette are made to work with each other, making it easy to create your whole eyeshadow look with just one little palette. The small size of it makes it easy to travel with but does however make it somewhat hard to get all of the product out. Each pallet comes with a little mini brush which again is helpful for travel, and it nice for touch ups. It does come with a very small mini mirror where the brush sits, although it is small you can see both your eyes in it for when applying the eye shadows.
Overall: I would recommend this product. For only $1 it is defiantly a drugstore steal. It comes a such a variety of shades that makes it so easy for people to find which pallet will suit them best.
Repurchase?: YES!

It is just a very simple parachute flared long sleeve shirt with basic jeans but like I said it goes perfectly with the song.

F21 Inspiration.

hello my little reindeer!

haha is it to soon for Christmas spirit? Today while everyone was at school I was at home as sick as a dog and decided to browse through Forever 21 clothes. Nothing at Forever 21 has amused me to much recently but while searching the website today I found some adore items... and now I wonder why my Forever 21 has none of this adorable stuff in store.

I just found this quite funny because I still have my old D.A.R.E shirts from middle school.

Old Navy actually has something very similar to this minus the fringe.

Adore this color!

If you couldn't tell I enjoy wearing mostly pastely/neutral colors. If any of you have a Forever 21 by you I would definitely suggest going on a hunt, especially during the Holiday season I think stores come out with the most adorable stuff during this time of the year.

Files Of a Bucket List Completer

Hello readers,

Today I plan on starting something new on my blog. I love fashion and makeup but there is so much more that I enjoy, thus I am starting a series that I plan to keep the whole length of my blogs life entitled "Files Of a Bucket List Completer. On these posts I am going to post completed things on my Bucket List and write, draw, post, exc about the whole experience. It might be boring to some but its something I wanna start. My full Bucket List will be posted on this page. To start off this series I thought I would post #7. This was completed 8/14/08 and has been on my Bucket List since I was kid and although some may find it creepy or others may find it strange it is something that I got checked off and I am quite proud of.

#7-Meet The Wiggles

Jeff!

Murray!

Sam!

(I had meet Anthony too, but the photo did not come out good.)

So far since that day I have seen the Wiggles two other times. No matter what, I do enjoy them. Recently their music has been becoming more Lullaby-like but I plan on having my children someday watch them. Greg Page, the former yellow wiggle, was the reason I put this on my list. This is because in my opinion, besides Josh Groban, Greg has a truly amazing voice. In interviews that I use to watch or even on the Wiggles show, I perseved him as a role model and although I could not meet Greg it was a honor to meet the rest of the men that make up the band I have adored since youth. When I was younger in all honestly I never thought I could check this on off, partially because by the time to opportunity came I thought I would not like the Wiggles anymore and I mean they are a very well-known children's band from Australia.

Just remember no matter how silly your dreams may seem, they are yours. Take from this what you will.

Frosty the snow nails.

Hello evvveryboddy.
I adore painting my nails festive for the Holidays. I thought I would share this my quick little winter nails with you. I love mint green nail polish and there are quite a few options out there one of the more well known ones being Revlon's Minted. I however was looking for more of a sea foam green color and somewhat failed..but I ended up finding Sally Hansons Nail Growth Miracle color in Gentle Blossom. It is such a pretty mintish semi sea foam green color. I reminded me of mints and snow. I applied 3 coats without and top coat and it has stayed on for about 5 days now without chips. One thing I enjoy about this nail polish is that it is very build able and it has light glistens of silverish white glitter specks. The brush is also very nice becuase as most Sally Hanson nail polish brushes it is wide and picks up just the right amount of color. I actaully only had to re-dip into the polish after every five fingers painted and they all got the same amount of polish.

I ended up adding little snowflakes on my ring finger to make them more festive. (excuse the messed up snowflake, I didnt relieze it was still drying when I went to grab some peppermint bark). For the snowflakes I just used L.A. Colors Art Deco in White which can be bought at Dollar Tree and Dollar General. This I want to really celebrate Winter and make it more enjoyable I think I may change my nails every week during the Holidays since I have a abundance of polish and tons of cute ideas to do on them.

What color polish do you like to use on your nails during the Holidays?
Do you do any designs on your nails?

Happy (Late) Thanksgiving!

I tend to always be late on posting for the Holidays-mostly because I am not much of a fan of typing up a post on a Holiday due to the fact I usually like to spend most of my time with mi familia. However I still did want to wish all who celebrated Thanksgiving to hope they had a good one. Thanksgiving is a fabulous holiday. My friend and I the a couple days ago were actually talking about all the stuff we take for granite and from now on I am really going to try to not take everything I have for grant. I know that I do have more then others and it saddens me to know that others don't even get to have any of there dreams come true. I am a firm believer in Bucket Lists and I plan to complete all the things on mine but some people can never because of circumstances they can not even control. But I thought I would show you all what I am thankful for and if you wish you can post all that you are thankful for and ill be more then happy to read it!

I am thankful for:

My Parents- They do so much for me, My mother keeps me sane and is always there for me. I would be extremely lost without her. She is honestly the sister I don't have. (we even share clothes and makeup:)My dad keeps me laughing and happy. He teaches me how to stay motivated and how to do your best and finish what your started.

My Brothers- My older brother is always there to tell me the truth and is the most motivating person I know. He is always there screaming at me during races and encouraging me. He helps me realize that I can do it. My twin brother is another person who makes me laugh all the time. He is someone who is usually on my side and understands alot of the things I am going through since were doing them together.

My Grandmother-For being strong and being the best cook.

My extended family-For all of there unconditional love.

Music-Without is my world would be sad and I would have broken down long ago. It pulls my though everything.

My experiences-I have witnessed so much in my life and took a lot of it for granite. I promise from now on to never let the heat, my mood, and exc. control my fate and put a damper on my parade. Because I wanna march higher and play louder then all and make a difference.

My Track coaches- Have inspired me in so many more way then I could put in words. Without them I wouldn't have been so in love with this sport and wanna do it as a living.

My Role models-they help me believe in dreams and make me wonder more then. Thank you.

Hope you all Have a Fantastic Friday.Take from this what you will.
-Chelsea
ps. The 3 pieces of cherry pie I ate yesterday are still happliy in my stomach waiting for me to do some late Black Friday Shopping.

My Perfect Imperfections

Hello All! So this Tag seems to be going around like swine flue did and I wanted to hop on the bandwagon for once instead of standing by the side of the rode waving at it. So off I go.

My imperfections:
My Nails: Always filled with dirt and more boxy then round. The main thing I don't like about my nails is that they always attract dirt, even thought it sounds gross. I can never grow my nails long unless I their painted or I have a little nail clipper dirt remover thing with me.:) Yep,that's the best way I know how to sum up my nails. I am just not to fond of them but I mean their cool, they help me with starch and sniff stuff...right?

My Inner Thighs: Maybe because I am a runner I dislike this part of me. They are not horrible but when they touch while I am running its equal chafing. Their is a nice anti-chafing product to put on your thighs for when you run and it helps....but I am allergic to it. I guess overall I have bad luck with my inner thighs because even though they are toned due to all of my pile squats they also look funny in shorts. So they are not bad but just kinda annoying for running.

My short jaw bone structure: This is something that use to really bother me and still does slightly. When I was younger I always thought that when I grew up I would get that fabulous potent bone structure that I saw in magazines however I didn't realize that it really wouldn't grow. I thought that because of my overbite too that once I got braces it would be fixed, but again I was wrong, because my bone structure for my jaw is short my orthodontist actually ending up over correcting my mouth and gave me a under bite because he was judging by my jaw.

Things I am fond of:
My thick no style hair:Yes, having hair that is a "thick as a bush" as my hairdressers quote, is something I am quite fond of. I use to despise my hair because it wasn't perfectly/naturally straight or it wasn't curly.exc, but now I love it! I feel like I could just wake up and go most days. My hair even though it it quite thick and cant hold curls to well, is something I adore. I mean hairspray is a friend to have and I could go days without washing and although I need 3 gold ball sizes of moose to scrunch it, it never looks gelled.

My use-to-be-acne-now-free-and-smooth skin: So this is anther thing that I have had a love hate relationship with. I was on Acutain starting in fifth grade up to about seventh. I was one of those people who had big pimples on their face, not those under the skin ones. My skin now is so smooth and I have actually gotten compliments on it. Bunches ask me what kind of foundation I use , and I just have to tel them sunscreen and that I never wear foundation unless it homecoming or a banquette.

My Calves: Are like a mans. I have had quite a few male runners compliment me on them. They are actually bigger then my brothers and my dads too. My mother is where I get them. Mine however are still larger. I enjoy it though. I actually have the nickname"Calves" in track because of those big beautiful bulges behind my shins. "Imperfection is Beauty, Madness is Genius, and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."-Marilyn Monroe

I tag all who want to do this and post your link below. I love reading them!
