N.Y.C. Lipstick Review
I have been meaning to review these lipsticks for awhile now. Two years ago the color "Chiffon" was really popular by the brand New York Color. I really love this brand for their prices and the quality of their products. Here is my review on their lipsticks.
Ultra Last Lipstick:Super-charged color. Glide-on, stay-on lipstick! New York Color Ultra Last Lip Wear gives you incredible color with real staying power. Beautiful high-fashion shades give you the most luscious, kissable lips ever. -New York Color
Texture: A tad drying, perfect with a lip balm base. Goes on a little tacky.
Smell:Plastic.
Lasting Power:The ultra moist lipsticks stay on up to an hour while the ultra last lipsticks stay on up to 3. This is however without food or drink. I would cut back about 30minutes on the ultra moist with food and drink, and a hour on the ultra last.
Other comments: The colors are very build able and stay on good for their price. I believe that the moistness varies throughout. Out of the ones I have retro red is the most dry but it is also the only matte one I have from it does chip and break easily. The color selection is great. You can deffiently find the colors you want and try them out to findif they are the right shade for you.
Overall: I really do enjoy the products that N.Y.C. produces. Even though these lipsticks are not as creamy or moisturizing as other lipsticks I would recommend them especially
for people just starting out with makeup.

Stila Topez Liner Review
Review:
Claims:"Kajal eye liners are formulated to mimic the ultra-soft texture of the indian eye darkener of the same name.
The luscious formula is silky smooth and glides on perfectly, without dragging across the most fragile skin around the eye area. Delivers bold, clear, true color that blends easily and beautifies. "-Stila.com
Texture: Extremely creamy, almost to fault. Glides on very easy with no tugs.
Blendabilty: Can easily be blended just by the swipe of a pinkie.
Smell: Slight crayon scent.
Lasting Power: This is were I was disappointed. The longest the true color stayed on was up to 3 hours max when applied to waterline. After 3 hours it faded alot. I used a peachy pink shadow to set and it stayed on up to 4 hours on my waterline with the true color. After 4hours the same fading happened but it more noticeable. The shadow actually stayed on longer then the pencil.
Overall: The product really worked with my skin tone and made my eyes brighter with less notice-abilty of a white liner. It is one of the creamiest eyeliners I have ever used. However the staying power is just not there. For $18 I would prefer to my NYX white liner.
Repurchase?: Maybe.

E.L.F. Brightening Eye Colors Review.
Today I have a review on the E.l.F. Brightening Eye Shadow pallets. These are the ones that are only$1. The easiest place to purchase them would definitely have to be their website. However in the states they are are available at some Kmart's and Dollar stores. At this point in time they have 18 different pallets. I have 3 of them in Butternut, Silver Lining, and Nouveau Neutrals(not pictured). The last pallet I have not opened yet. If you wish to see swacthed of that one to, just request it and Ill have it up. Now on with it.
Review:
Claims: "Luxuriously smooth, corn silk formula provides eyes with a neutral base and an awakened brightness. The formula blends into skin for a long lasting, beautiful effect. The 4 color quad allows for both natural and dramatic looks. Mirror in compact included."-eyeslipsface.com Texture: Smooth and Silky.
Blendabilty: Very easy to blend. However the texture of it does cause it to fad sometime in the blending process. Blending will most likely cause fallout.
Smell: Unscented
Lasting Power: I tend to get different results depending on what kind of base I use and what other shadows I use along with them. Without a base/primer or with a cheaper base/primer they tend to fade after about four hours. The color is still somewhat noticeable but mostly faded. With a good base/primer they have lasted me up to nine to ten hours with just little to no fading.
Other comments: The colors per palette are made to work with each other, making it easy to create your whole eyeshadow look with just one little palette. The small size of it makes it easy to travel with but does however make it somewhat hard to get all of the product out. Each pallet comes with a little mini brush which again is helpful for travel, and it nice for touch ups. It does come with a very small mini mirror where the brush sits, although it is small you can see both your eyes in it for when applying the eye shadows.
Overall: I would recommend this product. For only $1 it is defiantly a drugstore steal. It comes a such a variety of shades that makes it so easy for people to find which pallet will suit them best.
Repurchase?: YES!

St.Ives Review
Hello Lovies, So today I thought I would do my review on the two St. Ives products that I own. St. Ives is
discussed alot in the You-tube beauty community. It seems like it is either a hit oo miss for most people.St.Ives is a brand that specializes in skin care. I purchased two of their products, one of which always has a extreme hype about it.The first product is the St.Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub. If you refer to My Skin post, you would know that I have combination to dry skin. My skin is also pretty tough/thick,
and not very sensitive.
Texture: Quite gritty.
Claims:Exfoliates to reveal smooth,radiant skin
Feels: A tad rough not irritating on my skin however.
Smell:Apricot
Overall:It does live up to its claim. My skin feels very refreshed and smooth after. I use this scrub with a exfoliator brush and rotate it in a circular motion.
I know quite a few people dislike this product because it irritates their skin, but on mine it works very
well. I love using it after a long run or a hot day.
Repurchase?:Yes
The second product that I purchased was the St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub.
Texture: Gritty yet smooth.
Claims:Clears breakouts and reduces redness Salicylic Acid Acne Medication With 100% Natural Green Tea
Feels: Smooth and refreshing.
Smell:Green tea
Overall: The product is very nice and refreshing. I used this product by messaging it into my skin in a circular motion. It did reduce redness but I did not notice a change in my breakouts. My breakouts still seemed to stay around theaverage amount of time.
Repurchase?: Maybe
Hope you enjoy!
